Ab sofort geh\u00f6rt der PE-Beutel bei der Logistik von WMF- und HEPP-Besteckteilen der Vergangenheit an. Stattdessen setzt die proHeq GmbH auf neue, speziell entwickelte Papiertaschen. Mit diesem Schritt reduziert der Gastroprofi aus Birkenfeld mehr als 40 Prozent seines Plastikaufkommens in der globalen Supply Chain.<\/p>\n

\u201eDas konsequente Reduzieren von Plastikm\u00fcll ist wichtiger Bestandteil unserer Corporate Social Responsibility Charta. In einer Branche, in der es bislang keine Verpackungsalternative f\u00fcr PE-Beutel gab, ist unser neues Versandkonzept ein bedeutendes Signal f\u00fcr den umweltgerechteren, innovativen Materialeinsatz“, so Susanne Schmidt, Leitung Marketing und Produktmanagement bei der proHeq GmbH. Die neue Papiertasche wird nun sukzessive bei allen Bestecklieferanten von proHeq zur Pflicht.<\/p>\n

Neben der gravierenden Verbesserung des \u00f6kologischen Fu\u00dfabdrucks birgt die Papiertasche auch gro\u00dfe qualitative und betriebswirtschaftliche Vorteile. \u201eDurch das luftundurchl\u00e4ssige Material der PE-Beutel konnte es in seltenen F\u00e4llen dazu kommen, dass die Besteckteile w\u00e4hrend des Transports grau anliefen. Diese Verf\u00e4rbungen mussten dann manuell nachgearbeitet werden \u2013 ein Zeit- und Kostenfaktor, der nun vollst\u00e4ndig entf\u00e4llt\u201c, so Schmidt weiter.<\/p>\n

Entwickelt wurden die Papiertaschen gemeinsam mit einem Zulieferer. Und auch hier standen die umweltschonenden Aspekte im Vordergrund: Mit einer Produktionsst\u00e4tte vor Ort in China wird die Umstellung in der gesamten asiatischen Lieferantenkette betriebswirtschaftlich effizient und \u00f6kologisch intelligent begleitet.<\/p>\n
