Declaration of principles for human rights
Increasing globalization has led to a significant increase in international business relationships and supply chains in recent years. The new Supply Chain Due Diligence Act is intended to improve and strengthen the international human rights situation and prevent disregard and violations of human rights.
We are convinced that we can only be successful in the long term if we live up to our corporate responsibility to respect human rights both locally and globally. The Declaration of Principles is another important step in this direction. The Declaration of Principles for Human Rights forms the binding basis for the implementation of human rights standards at WMF and specifies the requirements for compliance with human rights from our Code of Ethics. We are actively committed to upholding human rights and protecting the environment, both in our own business activities and along our supply chains, in line with the requirements of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG).
