Trainee Mechatronics Engineer
As a trainee mechatronics engineer, Maximilian Kress consciously chose us as his employer for the start of his professional life. In a short interview, he tells us why he feels so comfortable at WMF.
What makes your job interesting?
What I like most about my training is that it’s varied, and I get insights into a wide range of tasks – from testing and measuring to maintaining and repairing. I deal with many topics that are familiar to me from everyday life and that have fascinated me since my school days. I also get the opportunity to explain important work processes to younger trainees and support them, which I personally really enjoy.
What do you like about WMF?
From the very first day, I had the impression of being respected, taken seriously and warmly welcomed into the “WMF family”. This made me feel that I had made the right decision in choosing this large and world-renowned company.
What are your next steps at WMF?
I have my final examination coming up. Afterwards, I would like to continue my development as an engineer. For the future, I would like to have a secure job that I enjoy and that offers me the potential for further development – I think that WMF offers the best conditions for this.
