Store Manager
Store manager Antje Pfister has been with WMF since 1995 and it is hard to imagine our store in Würzburg without her. As you can read in the following short interview, her job is still as fascinating as it was on her first day.
What makes your job interesting?
In our stores, no two days are the same. Even after such a long time, I find the work very varied. I’m particularly fascinated by the contact with people from all over the world who we welcome into our store. What’s more, digitalization in particular has ensured that the profession and the job of a store manager is continuously changing and developing. As you would expect, the same applies to the product range, which regularly responds to new trends.
What do you like about WMF?
WMF offers the ideal combination of quality and design. There is a reason why people in Germany and far beyond have been opting for our traditional brand for generations. However, it is not only WMF’s products that are reliable – the company also demonstrates reliability as an employer, for example with regard to aspects such as salary and bonuses as well as the company’s own holiday planning.
Have you had any experiences with us that particularly linger in your memory?
In 2011, I was nominated and awarded Store Manager of the Year in the retail sector in the “Friendliness” category by my colleagues. As a thank you, WMF gave me a three-day trip to Stockholm. I have very fond memories of those wonderful days full of exciting impressions and experiences.
