Financial Specialist
Marco Gaber has been a Financial Specialist in Financial Projects, Treasury, and Internal Controls since 2018. In the following interview, he gives us an insight into his daily work at WMF.
What made you decide to take this job?
Back when I was completing my business administration studies, I was heavily involved with the fields of accounting and controlling and decided to make them my profession. My job at WMF combines both areas and enables me to deal with new issues on a regular basis and to continuously develop.
What makes your job interesting?
My tasks are varied and challenge me every day. In addition, a lot of emphasis is placed on diversity here. At WMF, I have the opportunity to work in an international environment and to get to know colleagues from the most diverse corners of the world. The intercultural exchange enriches the company as well as me personally.
Have you had any experiences with us that particularly linger in your memory?
During a financial training course in Écully, France, I had the opportunity to meet colleagues from Groupe SEB. In addition to the interesting and inspiring professional exchange, we had the opportunity to spend the evening together and were shown around Lyon by our French colleagues – a nice ending that I remember fondly.
