Service Technician for Coffee Machines

For many years now, he has put his heart and soul into his work: Thomas Matic, Service Technician for Coffee Machines at WMF. He provides an insight into his career and his daily work below.

What do you like about WMF?

I have been at WMF since 1989 – and my father also worked here. For me personally, my job offers the ideal combination of stability and daily challenges.

What tasks do you work on?

I started as a trainee industrial electronics technician and then worked for many years in knife production and maintenance. Now I work in coffee machine servicing. For example, I deal with the commissioning, maintenance and repair of professional fully automatic coffee machines and advise customers on the implementation of individual coffee concepts.

What makes your job interesting?

A job in the field has always appealed to me. I can work independently and get the chance to look behind the scenes in the catering industry and at events. I appreciate the changing work and customer environments as well as the direct contact with the users of our products.
