What tasks do you work on?
I am responsible for implementing and maintaining software. This includes designing, configuring, and implementing new features as well as fixing bugs. It is particularly important to harmonize the requirements of the customers and those of product management to optimum effect.
What makes your job interesting?
What excites me most about my job is the opportunity to think outside of the box when designing meaningful features – trying out new approaches for example. In addition to working with cutting-edge technologies, I like the fact that we create software for a product you can touch. Aspects such as user experience and user-friendliness are particularly important in this respect.
Have you had any experiences with us that particularly linger in your memory?
When I was brand new to the company, I was given the opportunity to shadow a service technician for coffee machines for a day. In this way, I was also able to get a direct picture of the opinion of our customers. WMF offers fully automatic coffee machines that meet the highest requirements – both technically and in terms of the wishes of the users.
