Carsten Kulcke takes over responsibility of the hotel business of WMF GmbH

Geislingen/Steige – With effect from June 01, Carsten Kulcke (54) will take over the leadership of the Global Business Unit Hotel as General Manager and thus the function of Managing Director of proHeq GmbH. In this position he will report directly to Oliver Kastalio, CEO of WMF GmbH.

"We are delighted to bring Carsten Kulcke, a proven strategist and experienced manager of premium brands with many years of experience in the premium sector and a good track record, on board," says Kastalio. Carsten Kulcke has held management positions at Rimowa and Victorinox, among others, for many years, recently as Chief Product Officer there. He brings extensive experience in managing and developing companies in the luxury and premium consumer goods sector.

Kulcke thus succeeds Marten van der Mei (52), the previous General Manager Global Business Unit, who will leave WMF GmbH to take up new challenges outside the company.

"I would like to thank Marten van der Mei for his successful contribution to the further development of the Global Business Unit Hotel and his commitment to WMF GmbH, also as Vice President in the Professional Coffee Machines division with responsibility for the D-A-CH region. I wish him all the best for his private and professional future," says Kastalio.
